Our commitments
The promises below describe how Waypoint Realms works today, and each one is backed by the product itself, not only by this page. A commitment here changes only with at least 90 days' notice and a dated entry at the bottom of the page.
How prices and fees change
A fee increase gets at least 90 days' notice before it takes effect.
It is scheduled, not switched on. The console refuses an increase dated any sooner, and decreases can apply straight away.
When a fee is going up, the people it applies to hear about it the day it's scheduled.
In the app and by email — sellers in that lane, not a banner for everyone to scroll past.
An approved GM listing or a published Marketplace listing keeps the fee rate it started with for as long as it's listed.
If we change a price or fee clause in the Terms, we ask you to accept it. We don't treat carrying on using Waypoint as your agreement.
You're told at least 90 days before it takes effect, and asked on the day it does. Until you accept you can still browse, read your messages, cancel a subscription, export your data, close your account and talk to us.
If a membership or Hub price changes, current subscribers keep the price they pay for at least 12 months after we announce it.
A new price never moves an existing subscription by itself, and a price we have stopped selling keeps working for the people on it.
Never behind a paywall
These stay free on every account. A feature on this list can't be moved behind a membership.
Messaging, the member directory, profiles, RSVPing, and exporting your data.
Attendee and door lists for the sessions you run, and re-inviting people who came before.
A free account can RSVP to as many free sessions as it likes, and that allowance will never go down.
Downgrading never deletes or locks a Circle.
A Circle over its member cap keeps everyone; it just stops taking new members until there's room.
Payment never buys your place
Paying never moves anyone up a waitlist or ahead in RSVP order.
No third-party ads and no ad networks. Sponsored placements are labelled, capped at two, and never reorder results.
When a decision is about you
Every moderation decision about you or your content comes with a reason — and so does the answer to an appeal.
You can appeal a removed or hidden post, and a suspension. A person reads every appeal.
Content hidden automatically after reports tells you why, with a link to appeal.
Appeals and safety reports start at the same priority for everyone. A membership or partner account never moves you up that queue.
A review is never removed for being negative, and marketplace reviews are double-blind: neither side sees the other's until both are in or 14 days pass.
A review comes down only on a published ground — not about the deal, harassment or hate, personal information, conflict of interest, or provably false — and the person it's about can reply once.
An automatic check that stops a post or upload isn't a penalty: it says which rule it tripped, nothing is recorded against you, and you can ask a person to review it.
When the app changes
When we redesign a main page, you can switch back to the previous layout for at least 90 days.
Main pages are sessions, discovery, Circles, the campaign table, home and the marketplace. You're told when the new layout arrives, and again two weeks before the old one goes. New colours, wording, and accessibility or security fixes aren't redesigns.
We don't reset your saved appearance or layout choices in bulk. It would take a recorded decision, published with its reason.
Saving one setting never clears the others.
What we won't do
We never collect or hold government ID. Payment processors verify payout identity as the law requires.
