Choosing your username

Your @username is your identity on Waypoint Realms — it appears on your profile, in messages, and anywhere you show up across the app. You pick it once when you join.

The rules

• 3–30 characters: letters, numbers, and underscores.
• It must be unique, and it's case-insensitive.
• Your display name (shown next to your handle) is separate and can be changed anytime under Profile.

Can I change it later?

Username changes come with a paid membership (Plus or Pro). On a paid plan you can change your handle once every 30 days, and your old handle is retired and reserved so no one else can take it. On a Free account you can buy a single name change ($2) from Profile → Account, as many times as you need. Each one pays for one change, and the same 30-day gap applies.
