The Design Shop: sharing & selling Piece Forge designs

Browse designs other cosplayers modelled, clone one into your own library, and refit it to your measurements. Free designs cost nothing; priced ones pay their maker.

Not everyone wants to model a helmet from scratch. The Design Shop is where cosplayers publish the pieces they modelled in Piece Forge, so you can start from somebody else's shape and make it yours.

Getting a design

Browse by piece kind
Helmet, torso, gauntlet, greaves or prop. Each card shows the kind and how many panels it has, the maker — linked to their Cosplay Portfolio — the circumference it fits as published, and the maker's description.
Clone or buy it
A free design says Clone to my library; a priced one says Buy with its price and goes to checkout. Either way you get a copy in your library — yours to open and change — and the card then reads In your library →, which opens your copy in Piece Forge.
Refit it to you
In Piece Forge, choose your measurement profile and Resize to fit, then unfold it to foam. A design made at somebody else's size does not have to stay at their size. If a measurement is missing, Piece Forge links you to the Measuring Room and back.

You get a copy, not a link

The design lands in your library as your own copy. If the maker later edits or retires their listing, what you already have is unaffected. Purchases keeps a receipt for every design you got, free or paid.

Publishing your own

Anything you save in Piece Forge can be listed, and publishing is free on every plan. Use Publish a design in the shop, or — on a saved design with no unsaved changes — Publish to the Design Shop › in Piece Forge. The shop takes a snapshot, so you can keep working on your own copy without changing what others get. A free listing needs nothing more; to set a price you connect payouts first, and the form says what share of a sale Waypoint Realms keeps.

My listings is what you have published. Edit a listing's title, description and price there; Retire takes it off the shelf, and Relist puts it back. To change the design itself, retire the listing and publish the new version. A listing that staff removed says Removed by staff, with the reason, and can't be relisted. Any member can use Report this listing on a card that should not be in the shop.

Say what it scales from

The most useful line in a description is which measurement drives the fit — a gauntlet that scales from the forearm and a gauntlet that scales from the wrist behave very differently on the same arm. Write the description you would have wanted before you printed it: what it fits, what it assumes, and where it will fight you.

Not the same as the Marketplace
