Tracking anime & manga

Keep what you're watching and reading in one library, log episodes and volumes as you go, and get reminded when a show you follow airs a new episode.

EveryoneUpdated October 7, 2026

The Anime & Manga Library is where the Anime Realm keeps track of what you are actually watching and reading β€” with episode and volume counts, ratings, and a calendar that tells you when the next episode lands.

The Anime and Manga Library: Add a title, Import or export your list, tabs for All, Anime, Manga and Discover, a Your lists strip with a favourites list, then search, status filter, sort and a Scores as menu above the first watching entry.
One library for both, with your lists, search and your choice of score scale at the top.

Tracking a title

  1. Add it

+ Add a title and pick it from the Atlas, or press Start tracking on its Atlas page. The Atlas link is what makes the rest work: it is how the library knows the episode count and when the next one airs. If the Atlas doesn't have a show yet, add it anyway. We'll ask for it to be added, and your entry links up by itself when it is. Manga comes from the Comics Atlas.
  2. Set a status

Watching, plan to watch, rewatching and the rest. The library groups by status, so the three shows you are mid-way through do not get lost among the ninety you intend to start.
  3. Log as you go

+1 ep after each episode, or mark episodes on the show's Atlas page. Score it when you have an opinion, as stars, out of 10 or out of 100. Volumes work the same way for manga.

Tags turn your library into private lists. Search, filter, sort and bulk-edit it, and bring a list in from MyAnimeList, or take yours out, without losing progress. The Anime Realm article has the details.

The Airing Calendar

Anything in your library marked watching or plan to watch that is currently airing shows up on the Airing Calendar with its next episode, in your own timezone. You get reminded within the hour after it airs, and the reminder opens the show ready to mark that episode watched. Next episodes also appear on your calendar. Mute a show's reminders without removing it.

The Airing Calendar's week view in the member's own timezone, with the next episode of a tracked show on Friday, above today's timeline.
Driven by your library: currently-airing titles you're watching or plan to watch, linked to the Atlas.

Nothing airing? Check the link

The calendar reads your library, and it needs the title linked to the Atlas to know its schedule. A show added as free text will track your episode count fine but will never appear here.

This season

The This season tab on the same page is the whole season, not just your list: every Atlas title filed under it, as posters with the next episode counting down or the premiere date. Filter by format or streaming service, or show only what's not in my library. Sort by countdown, by airdate, or by how many members are tracking a show. A count only appears once three or more members track it.

+ Plan to watch adds a show to your library in one tap, linked to the Atlas, so its episodes land on your calendar. Step back and forward a season with the arrows. The current season also lists the shows still airing from earlier ones under Still airing.

Watch Party

Watch Party is for watching together β€” a member-hosted watch-along with a date, the episodes you are covering, and an RSVP list. Host one from here, or open a title in the Atlas and host or RSVP straight from its page. Say you're going or just interested; a host can cap the spots, and a party can belong to one of your Circles.

Follow a title on its Atlas page and you hear when someone hosts a watch party for it. You also hear if it's in your library with reminders on and you're still watching or planning to. It's one notification per show per day, however many parties appear.

The Watch Parties page with a Host a watch party button and an upcoming watch-along listed under its date, naming the title, the episode range, the host and how many people are going.
Upcoming watch-alongs. Each one names the episodes it covers, so you know what to catch up on first.

See what everyone else is into

The library's Discover tab surfaces what the community is watching and rating, which is a better recommendation engine than a list of everything ever made.
